Extra is removed in "GET SMART"

Extra is remeved in “GET SMART”.

(In this case, AnyDVD seems to be almost correct, I confirmed by PgcEdit’s Trace Mode with using it.)

It has the extras. It is same as main movie and jumps to 51 extras movie.
Extras main movie is VTST_1 - PGC_8 and 9. (Real main movie is VTST_1 - PGC_1.)
It is replaced by dummy, 36 of 58 cells of PGC_8 and all of 67 cells of PGC_9. (in which Cell_1 to 16 of PGC_9 are not replayed, so correct to be replaced.)

Extras jumped movie is VTST_2 - PGC_1 to 42.
They are through button of VTSM_1 - PGC_9 from PGC_8 or 9 of_VTST_1.
It is replaced by dummy, PGC_4 to 42.

And it is no problem because the cell is 0.15 sec.
Below cells are unplayable by cell command , but not replaced.
^Cell_3 of PGC_4 of VTST_4.
^Cell_3 of PGC_5 of VTST_4.

Regards.

What mode did you use ?
What mode did you use ?
“Enable PathPlayer when necessary”. and automatically selected enable.

(I also tryed “Disable PathPlayer”, but the result was worse.)

Regards.

(add)
“Mode” means another setting?
If so,
I used “DVD to DVD”, “Full Disc”.

“Enable PathPlayer when necessary”
has a known issue try going into common settings and set it as “Always enabled”, also don’t have your other program running in the background

set it as “Always enabled”

I can do it easily.
But there is written in Info window
"PathPlayer is enabled!
Unplayable cell (***) is removed!

*** unplayable cells are removed!“
Do you mean there is difference from " Always enabled”, eve if written “enabled”?

don’t have your other program running in the background

It is difficult for me.
I didn’t start other program. But I don’t know clearly programs running in the background. And I don’t know which and how should I stop them now. It needs time for me, if try it.

Regards.

There is no difference in the function once it is enabled. Better to Always Enable unless there is some reason for a particular disc to turn it off. The “if needed” option sometimes can be triggered by a dirty/scratched disc, which will abort the rip and start over with PathPlayer enabled, wasting time.

Thanks for the explanation.
There seems to be no problem about setting.
(Remaining is about program running in the background.)

Regards.

I confirmed that there are reported several examples which remove extras as same as me in Japan.
I think it will be bug.

And another problem was found.
Cell type of 11 cells of main movie (VTST_1 - PGC_1) was changed 8 to 2.
^8 means “seamless playback” yes, “STC discontinuity” no.
^2 means “seamless playback” no , “STC discontinuity” yes.
So there was pause on some player.

I hope these will be fixed.

Regards.

I think it need additioanal information to analyze.
I think it is button command. (pre- and post- and cell-command can be read from IFO file attached.)

(1)for jumping to extras main movie VTST_1 - PGC_8.
------ “Set gprm(15) =(mov) 66 ; LinkPGCN PGC 11” in VTSM_1 - PGC_1 (root menu).

(2)for jumping to extras movie VTST_2 - PGC_1 to 42 each.
------ “Set gprm(15) =(mov) 1 ; LinkTailPGC” in VTSM_1 - PGC_9.

Regards.
