Great, simply great :flower:

Eventually the studios are going to have to come to terms with the fact that the internet has made geoblocking an antique method of controlling their content. The more they apply it, the more there is incentive to pirate the content, rather than go through legal channels.
I do stand by my words, I think both piracy and geo-block circumvention are good counter-weights of civil disobedience to help remove antique laws and methods like different release dates and to actually force the studios make a move on these subjects.
So, until they have come to terms with the realities of our times, like the fact that we are a global society out here…

That is why torrent lives on and pirating continues to go unabaided.

We all know that this agreement won’t mean much. Between the Brexit, the cleverness of Paramount’s lawyers, and the influence that Hollywood has over lawmakers (which will be used to create seemingly-stupid loopholes), it’s unlikely this will add up to more than a hill of beans.

Chances are, the MPAA will lead the charge of breaking up the EU altogether. They’ll probably say “The UK was able to escape, so you can do it too. The EU is evil… somehow.” One by one, they’ll push countries to leave until there’s only one nation left.
