ESET: new zero-day vulnerability in Windows actively exploited

A vulnerability in Windows that has recently been publicly disclosed and for which no security update from Microsoft is available, is actively attacked, according to antivirus company ESET. An attacker can elevate his rights on the system through the vulnerability.

So it doesn’t work til that happens. And those whom don’t open then are safe. Fear Mongering doesn’t help here but truth telling help informs others what steps to take. Never open email attachments or docs from those you didn’t ask for or request for. Ask them directly first why they sent you that. I figure as much they only get access if your sucker enough to open Fake emails or infected emails that you didn’t request. So stop thinking you will get your 100mils Nigeria money.
