Well, I don’t use Nero, not even with Windows, but have you ever had a successful DL burn? What brand of DL disk are you using? The only reliable brand is Verbatim MIS. Also, try slowing your burn speed to 4X. Have you tried any of the Linux burning apps like K3B or Brasero? For DL burns with Linux is use Imgburn running under Wine and never had a problem.

#3

Yeah I’ve burnt an ISO to a DL disc (same ones am using now (Verbatim), tried putting the speed down to the lowest setting too, not used K3B in ages since I’ve been using Nero since it released on Linux (mainly due to having to have KDE libs installed).

Not sure if this matters but the file am trying to burn is 4GB in size (hence the UDF FS).

#4

We also discovered this, and this is a 64bit only issue. It will be fixed in the next release.
You can also uninstall the 64bit package and replace it with the 32bit one (you will then also need the gtk2 libs in 32bit).

#5

Ahh, thanks for your response mathf, don’t suppose that update will be appearing soon?

Cheers

#6

I guess he means the next update. As Updates are released quite frequently by Nero it shouldn’t take too long. However as mathf mentioned, as long as it takes just use the 32bit version.
