Error Burning Dvd

Hi,
My name is Richard.I just buy a DVD writer and installed it in my old PC (Pentim III 450MHZ and 64 Mo RAM)
When I try to burn DVD, after 25% OK, NERO gives me an error IDE… TIMEOUT or something like that. The DVD files were created with DVDSHRINK
What do you think about?

Im a newbie as well, but everything ive seen has minimums of 128 ram. just a thought.
