Error 122?

I've never encountered this error. Does anyone know what it might be?

Hi, got the same error.
It might have something to do with a failed disk formatting. I’m trying to find it out, but error 122 is listed nowhere (not where i looked anyway).
If anyone knows how failed formatting is caused and solved i’d love to hear

what steps are you taking to receive the error?

are you using 5050

I’m cloning a simple DVD (one layer, no encryptions). I start the cloning, image is made, but formatting fails.
I think its not the program (i’m using 5.0.5.0 btw) but my DVD-writer, which isnt capable of burning anything (turned out; at least no DVD’s)

[B]This is my first post and not a reply, but it does involved error code 122. I’m already learning from reading these threads. I’m using 5050 and was trying to burn a compressed main movie onto a Sony DVD-R (I just bought some Verbatim DVD+R blanks but haven’t used them yet). I got the 122 error code and this is what part of the log said quote:

Does this mean that my lens is dirty and needs to cleaned? I’ve always used packet writing in the copy process. The computer I’m using is a HP Pavillion dv9000 laptop with a Matshita DVD-Ram burner (bought it last July 2007) and I’m using version 1.37 of Patin-Couffin driver. I’m using Multiword DMA Mode 2. Any help would be appreciated.

at least update to 5085 and try those verbatims, i dont know what the max speed that drive will support but you should not use max.
