[qanda]This thread is about the Lite-On External Slim 8x DVD Writer LightScribe USB. Click here to see full specs[/qanda]Hello hello,
Stupid question I reckon so best to plonk it here.
Having a little trouble with my LiteOn eSAU208 (External USB-powered DVD-RW drive) and slowing it down with Nero DriveSpeed.
For some reason DriveSpeed finds, detects and works perfectly on my desktop (Windows XP64 Pro) but for some reason DriveSpeed cannot find it when plugged into my Eee (Windows XP 32bit Home). Doubly curious as the drive reads and writes DVDs/CDs perfectly on both systems.
Any chance one of you fine folks could suggest what could be wrong here? Bit lost tbh and the noise is deafening
Thanks to anyone who's bothered to read this far
EDIT: Chose the wrong burner up top although they're basically the same, the Lite-On product page is infact http://www.liteonit.eu/optical-storage-dvd-rw-external-slim/new-esau-108/208-multicolor-series.html
