Epson Printer Swap

Today, I replaced my old Epson R200 with a new Epson SP1400. I installed the driver but figured since I already had PrindCD installed, I should just be able to go with that.

In a word… WRONG.

You have to *uninstall PrintCD and reinstall it before it will work with your new Epson printer (unless of course, you’re just using a new copy of your previous printer).

What OS are you using and also 64 bit or 32 bit?

Thanks for the info as i’m going to install a RX680 along with my already R320 in the near future. Will be using both. My OS is Vi$ta Ultimate 64 bit.

I think this is true of Canon software too, it has to be re-installed when a new printer is added. But it can just be installed over itself, no need to uninstall it.
