I have used TMPGEnc-2.5 to encode an avi into mpeg to burn to Vcd. After leaving it on all night (49 minute file), I found that the video is fine but there is no sound. There was sound on the original (mpeg 3 layer). Can anyone tell me why this may have hapened. I am very new to encoding and trying to make a vcd.Thank you.
TMPGenc has obviously not liked the audio file (cant handle VBR MP3's) so you need to extract it manually using Nandub. In Nandub, set Audio to Full Conversion, then in File, hit Save WAV. Use this wave file as Audio siurce in TMPGEnc.
