If the burner I'm looking at (Lite-On 32123S) states that it is EMF Encoding capable, does that mean that I won't have to use those "NOCD Fix" files anymore?

I'm currently using CloneCD 4.

Thanks!

Of course not. Copyprotections that don’t rely on EMF will stil not work when trying to make a backup with CloneCd 4

And do NOT crosspost

Sorry 'bout the cross post. I was copy/pasting messages from another forum and didn’t realize I had done trhe same one twice.

Anyway, from what I’ve read, it seems that SD2.5 relies on EFM to scramble the bits (or something like that). I hate using the NOCDFIX files. They are just a pain. That’s why I was wondering about that particular drive.
