DW1640 PI errors

Ok,

i found a problem while checking my discs with cd/dvd speed.
My burn quality looks really good but directly when this tool starts reading and dw1640 spins up it produces ~100-250 PI errors instantly. They vary from scan to scan on the same disc.

I exchanged all cables and firmware but nothing…ended up with firmware BSLB which seems to be very good (the only one without massive speed increase / decrease while burning).

Any ideas whats wrong? It messes up all my results.

I think you should turn on SolidBurn for both known and unknown media

Also, it might help if you post an image
of one of the scans, so we can see what’s
really happening.
