DVR107D can't finish disc?+can't update firmeware

hey, I looked around on the forum and tried about every solution i found on it, but it got me nowhere except even more confused…

so lately my Pioneer DVR 107D fails at burning disc’s! after it burned a 100%, it says it can’t finish the disc…

i installed different burning software and all heva the same problem (except when i burn a audio disc with itunes or WMP or other progs like that)

I’m trying to update my firmware, but it says it can’t find the device…
so i DVRflash it and got this first (using DVRFlash GUI)

Drive Information:
Description -PIONEER DVD RW DVR-107D
Firmware Rev. -1.20
Firmware date -04/09/21
Manufacturer -Pioneer
Drive is in normal mode.

Additional Drive Information:
Serial number -CLD084370WL
Interface Type -ATA
DVR generation -0007
Kernel type - MEDION
Normal Type - MEDION
Kernel version - 0001

then i tried the DVR 107D FW 1.22

i get a mismatch and canceled operation
if i use both the general and kernel for an XL (as suggested in this forum)
i get:
Firmware and Drive type mismatch
Continue because force option was specified
you are trying to flash an XL firmware onto what appears to be a standard drive. doing so can damage your drive: operation cancelled.

please help i need to clean my pc and without burning dvd’s, i can’t proceed…

You have an MEDION OEM drive, so you cannot crossflash with a firmware you have found somewhere…

BTW, no one needs the serial of your burner.

i think i got the 1.20 to work, but i still can’t burn a dvd…?

i get this error at the end

finalise disc failed!
device: [1:0:0]PIONEER DVD RW DVR-107D (G:) (ATA)
reason: unknown (internal target failure) (0x44,0xd6)

don’t know what else to do then update the dvr 107d firmware. like i said burning an audio cd with a playersofware still works so i doubt that it’s broken.
thx for any help, i getting desperate

@ jetron,

The CMC MAG M01 DVR+R blank Media you are attempting to use isn’t known to produce quality error free results. Suggest obtaining known proven quality blank DVD Media that consistently produces quality error free results such as Taiyo Yuden or Verbatim Media.

Who says this image is for a DVD?

Could even fit on a CD!!
