Hi, I've burned several DVDs onto DVD-r media during the last year or so. They all worked great for a long time. However, recently, I've noticed several of them that had previously worked fine, have started to become corrupt without any apparent reason. The corruption causes severe skipping, usually somewhere past halfway through the movie. It has happened now to a large enough percentage of my dvd-rs that I'm becoming quite concerned. They all worked fine when I originally burned them, and I've taken very good care of them all. None of them have any scratches, and they've been stored in cases at room temperature. I've tried them in several different DVD players (including computers), all with the same results.
Does anyone have any idea what could be causing this??? I'm using Teon 8x DVD-R media, with Nero (with DVD Shrink) and a NEC 2500 burner.
