Dvdremake

I have the most current version of DVDRemake Pro. I have merged two small dvds and created a custom menu. When I run the dvd on my dvd player, the buttons are not there. When I run it on my computer I can click where the button should be and it works OK. The first thing that I would like to do is to get the buttons to show up on my dvd player. I have seen cases where a symbol (star or arrow) will appear when you place the curson over the spot to start either dvd. I have used MuxMan to create the custom menu. I did a replace still to get the background picture into the custom menu. I did not use replace block because I am not sure what it does. I would appreciate any help on this problem.

Welcome to the forums kedolby.

There were never very many people here who used DVDReMake Pro, and most of those haven’t been around for a while.

I do quite a bit of work with dvds, but I use completely different tools, and tend to work with elementary streams, rather than try to work with entire dvd-video structure when merging and making a new dvd menu. But stick around, someone may have some help for you.

You may also want to ask your question over at videohelp.com. I’m sure there are still a few DVDRemake users there.

You could see if this forum can be of help which is supposed to be the official forums for DvdReMake:

Or an older guide here:

I rarely see any references to DvdReMake, it seems many are using freeware offerings such as AVStoDVD or a commercial product called DVD-lab PRO.

Sometimes an experienced user hops in,but unfortunually,we didn’t hear any news from Dimad for over a few years now,so I can only suggest to read the old threads…:frowning:
