…am I missing a software link on my pc maybe? Or maybe I am the one missing a link, who knows…!
O’C is correct.
The CGP file is corrupted or has missing files.
If you look in
Program Files\DVDFab5, you’ll see a folder named CGP.
Within, there should be 4 subfolders, 2 of which are .IFO files and another 2 which contain .IFO files…named Black Screen.CGP and DVDFab.CGP.
The whole business should contain something on the order of 476 KB.
Since it has been working well until very recently, hopefully your installer is still good. So if you still have the 184.108.40.206 installer, go ahead and re-install it. Quick and simple if it works.
Should this fail, or if you prefer, I can email 220.127.116.11. to you.
Just drop me a pm with your email.
JMO, if it were me, I’d just download and install v.18.104.22.168.
It is a final version (non-Beta) and is completely up to date…minus BR support.
If you’re interested in BR, just go with the latest Beta install.
I seem to recall something about admin privileges and CGP issues. You could try and modify permissions to the folder since it may be that Fab is being denied access, but to be honest it’s all pretty distant and foggy in the old brain.
