If your old version worked fine up to a short while ago and then the problem started, and then you up-graded to a newer version, and the problem persisted, I'm not convinced that reverting back to an older version will cure the problem either.
You say you changed nothing on your system prior to the problem occuring, and I don't doubt that statement.
How about a change to your system that you didn't make... such as a virus or some kind of malware?
If you're here on this site, then I suspect you go to other sites, too.
Are you protected with a good virus program? And a good malware program? They're exclusive to each other, so you'd need one of each.
If you have such protection, how often do you use it?
I've just reviewed your posts, and I see you've included very little info about your system. This tends to make it even tougher to figure out what a particular problem might be...
