Strange, It wouldn’t update via the programme notification, it looked like it did, but the previous version was still there? I had to download it from DVDFab’s website to make it update. It’s updated OK now.

A few other users have reported similar problems; the “internal” update for this release probably should be avoided. Sorry for the inconvenience.
