DVDFab 9.1.3.6 for Windows (March 20, 2014)

As our marketing strategy adjusts, the two brands, DVDFab and BluFab, will coexist simultaneously, starting from this minor update 9.1.3.6. All the existing customers performing updates shall get DVDFab 9 back again, with identical capacities as you always have, although we will not sell DVDFab 9 to new customers any more. This means, we will continue updating DVDFab 9 for existing customers in the future. Your lifetime licenses shall never expire!

Please note: this represents an adjustment to the BluFab marketing strategy, nothing more.

Are these one program with 2 names or 2 programs. If 2 programs, will enhancements and improvements to BluFab also be added to DVDFab?

#3

The feature sets are identical and AFAIK always will be. It’s just marketing, nothing more.

I sort of liked the name BLUFAB. I guess as long as it works as well as it does, I don’t care if they call it MonkeyFab LOL.:flower:

Seems like a great idea after all the legal take downs of Dvdfab now another product not on their hit list yet sold only to new customers makes perfect sense.:iagree:

I didn’t realize that both DVDFab and BluFab were BOTH in development. I thought BluFab was going to REPLACE DVDFab…

Well it seems that DVDFAB will have a decrypter and BLUFAB will not. LOL.
two products in development, one with and one without a decrypter LOL ( sorry fellas).
Still don’t know what advantage this brings…

Nor do I. I can see how it will cause a great deal of unnecessary confusion.

The advantage for Fab could be a lot of things, I wont venture on a guess but they wouldn’t have done it without a good reason. It shouldn’t make any difference to anyone buying it or owning it already.:disagree:

Yes, it’s a very strange approach…

You are absolutely right. DVDFab->BluFab->DVDFab. Why???
Strange marketing…

Remembering that there are lawyers involved, “strange” is expected and “reasonable” is not.

Sorry Alan but l did say we the Standard are a lot. I bought DVDFab and l personally love DVDFab name but l am still holding out for McFab.

Well, sounds as there is 1 big difference now…

Please note: Starting from this update 9.1.3.6, BluFab will no longer decrypt any DVD and Blu-ray protections. You will have to find for other possible solutions if your disc is copyright protected.

This does not sound good to me. With the information on the 1 big difference, I have to wonder who the new customers for BluFab will be.
