DVDfab syntax error

I just started using DVDfab, and I am using the latest version.
Each time I try to burn an ISO file, I get an error message that says:
Cannot open file: the file name, directory name, or vol local syntax is incorrect.
The ISo files are stored by default under my docs.
This occured with 3 diffent DVDs that I copied as ISO files.
I tried deleting and copying 3 times, but I still get the error message
thanks

Are you trying to do the write at the same time you do the rip and conversion to ISO, or are you trying to do the write later?

If later, are you checking the checking the default directory to make sure the ISO file you want is still there (before you start to burn)?

What burn engine are you using to do this failed burn?

Please advise.

See if the ISO filename has any illegal characters, such as dashes, question marks etc.

for OCanada
I copy the DVD first and save the ISO file in the default folder.
I use DVD fab to burn.

If you are using the default folder that ends in… emp, than that’s your problem.

Use another folder, or set up one you can use for just that purpose… what’s happening is, when you finish the rip, and exit the program, Fab is erasing the file (under normal circumstances, it’s supposed to be an aid to you, saving you from manually doing it after each rip…).

Fab only does this to that ‘\Temp’ folder, so a file saved to another folder is safe.

Try it again, using a different folder, and please let us know the results.
