I made a short film recently, and lost all my files when my computer crashed. Luckily, I had made one DVD off Adobe Premier before the crash occurred. Now, I’m trying to create a file from the DVD to submit to film schools.
Could somebody please tell me how to change the file into a windows compatible uploadable file like something in Windows Media player?

It all depends in what kind of format you have made the Adobe Premiere movie file. Did you use the standard DVD video schematics? If so, you can use AutoGK
Thanks. I downloaded the program and installed. When I made the file, everything was pretty standard except that I made the resolution the highest possible. All I want to get from the DVD is a file that can be sent via email and played on any Windows PC running Media Player. Would you please tell me what to do next? And thanks again for your reply.
Convert it to an .wmv file. Lots of progs will do this. Here are free trials:
