Sorry for the confusion, regedit is the windows registry editor, I'm talking about auto cleaners. I use regseeker, it's free, very useful and relatively safe...as reg cleaners go. As you know, there's always a risk, but I've used it on my family's 5 pcs and recommended it to quite a few folks, novice and experienced alike...never heard of a problem. Norton is no help here (btw, I used norton system works pro, etc., for years, finally got rid of it in all the pcs...couldn't be happier)...not trying to tell you what to do...just my own experience.
