Dvdfab plat 5.0.5.0 and Pursuit of Happyness

vbimport

Hey all,

I just upgraded to 5.0.5.0 and I noticed when I bring up “The Pursuit of Happyness” it only shows the movie has 28 chapters and is 1:48.42 seconds long. I didn’t look to closely, but when i just watched it, it cut off the end of the movie.

I bring up the same file under DvdShrink and it shows the movie is 1:57.36 and it has the ending.

The file is the same for both programs, so is there a way to get DVDFab Plat to read the whole movie? Did I do something wrong, because I’ve never seen this issue before?

Many thanks!
Eric Carter

please change your pathplayer setting to disable
http://www.dvdfab.com/docs/index.php/Main/SettingsPathPlayer

#3

Thanks for the reply.

I disabled it, but it had no affect on the incorrect time or cutting off the chapters early.

Do I need to move or alter the file itself?

Thank you again!

Tried uninstall / reinstalling also, this did not fix the problem either.

#5

please change your pathplayer setting to always enabled. then go into settings/ info, please copy/paste the info into a reply post.

is there more than one main title? if so maybe dvdfab is incorrectly choosing the title.

Please try DVDFab 5.0.5.5 Beta to see the result:

It should work with PathPlayer enabled now.

Thanks!

Any help here? Still can’t get it to work.

#14

use 5.060 version

#15

did you follow the directions for the clean uninstall from this link http://club.cdfreaks.com/2065659-post1.html follow the directions exactly as it tells you. After you uninstall you redownload the new update from this forum and also hopefully you have you reg key saved somewhere as you will need that again. Post back after you do this

#16

Yes.

I did full removal, reg keys defrag and all for xp.

Installed latest build 5.0.6.0 and same problem, shows movie is 1:48 not 1:57.
