DVDFab Passkey Beta is out

DVDFab Passkey Beta is out
Dear all,

DVDFab Passkey is a Windows-based driver that works on-the-fly to unprotect encrypted movie DVDs and Blu-ray discs. For DVD, it removes all DVD copy protections, like CSS, CPPM, RC, RCE, APS, UOPs, ARccOS, RipGuard, FluxDVD, CORE X2, etc. For Blu-ray, it removes all known AACS and BD+ copy protections, Region Code, BD-Live and UOPs. It allows you to watch any region DVD on your region specific DVD drive and player software. It allows you to watch Blu-ray disc without HDCP-compliant graphics card and without HDCP-compliant display. It also allows you to use any software to access unencrypted DVD and Blu-ray disc content.

Best of all, it’s FREE during BETA stage.

DVDFab Beta is out (March 11, 2010):

It works on Windows 7/Vista/XP/2000 (32-bit/64-bit).

What’s New:
New: Added “Safe” and “Aggressive” I/O mode in “General” setting window.
New: Added Aggressive I/O mode to support special copy software, like 1CLICK DVD COPY. Note: If you run both DVDFab Passkey and similar on-the-fly decrypter, the result will be unpredictable.
New: Works better with DVDFab now.
New: Language files.

This version is stable and safe for everyone, please try it to see the result. To discuss DVDFab Passkey, please start your thread at sub-forum http://forum.dvdfab.com/forumdisplay.php?f=34

Best Regards,

Thanks for this.

I do have a question:
Will there be an update price for people who previously purchased DVD Region & CSS Free ?

I don’t expect an upgrade like this to be free [although that would be nice] but many people bought lifetime upgrades of DVD Region & CSS Free, myself included. The reason I ask is that it seems to do much the same job, but with the addition of Bluray, which I don’t need.

Perhaps a version excluding Bluray would be an idea ?

Either way, still love the software!
