I USE DVDFAB (LATEST VERSION) TO BACK UP MY DVDS. FIRST I STORE THE DVD VIDEO TS FOLDER ON MY HARD DISK AND THEN BURN IT BY NERO EXPRESS DVD VIDEO OPTION . BUT ONE OF MY FRIEND USE NERO RECODE TO RE-ENCODE AND BURN THE VIDEO TS FOLDER ON HARD DISK CREATED BY DVDFab. I WANT TO KNOW IS IT NECESSARY TO RE-ENCODE THE VIDEO TS FOLDER BY NERO RECODE AND BURN IT ON DVD?
SOMETIME WHEN I TRY TO PLAY THE RIPPED DVDs ON MY HOME THEATRE DVD PLAYER, THEY SKIP AND JITTER. I USE VERBATIM DVD AND BURN THEM AT A SLOW SPEED. IS IT A PROBLEM WITH DVDFab? HAVE ANYBODY ENCOUNTERED THE SAME PROBLEM?
ANY SUGGESTION WILL BE HELPFUL.
It is not necessary to re-encode the output files that DVDFab creates, and as for yourskipping and jitter during playback that issue is related to a few things poor quality media and or burning to fast or can also be from a program running in the background during the burn process, since your are using Verbatim media you can rule out the media being the problem.Burning to slow can also create playback issues since you are using Verbatim you should burn at the rated speed for them -> 8x burn at 8x…16x burn at 16x or 8x
