Does anybody here know for sure if DVDFab can use Quick Sync if you have a discrete graphics card as well as an Intel ‘core’ processor? I’ve read a couple of techniques for activating QS when using a video card: http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?t=169712 and http://mirillis.com/en/products/tutorials/action-tutorial-intel-quick-sync-setup_for_desktops.html#top being two of them but was told in this thread: http://www.avsforum.com/t/1336046/ripping-blu-rays-ii/5680_40#post_24632792 that it won’t work with Fab.
It can but you could be experiencing a problem with the Quick Sync drivers as apparently the latest ones had caused problems although I believe this is sorted now.
What version are you running?
If you are a gamer and want to keep the card for that purpose and also use Intel Quick Sync for Fab check out Virtu. Be sure your BIOS supports it. I don’t game so I just pulled my graphics card.
How to enable quicksync with pictures you can find it here a great tut.
I have neither a graphics card nor any paid version of Fab but was told by someone at AVS Forum that Fab wouldn’t use QuickSync unless Intel HD graphics was the only graphics in your machine.
