Will not make an MP4 version of Mission Impossible 4. It just sets there a stay on 0% progress.
This problem has been around for a while and manifests itself on certain discs with slightly defective authoring.
There are three possible fixes that I’m aware of.
The protection on Mission Impossible 4 requires the latest version so rip the files using this latest version to hard disk.
Install version 18.104.22.168 (which will install in a different directory and won’t affect your existing installation) and use this to convert the decrypted files.
You can find this older version here.
Sometimes this problem occurs when you upgrade DVDFab over the top of the old copy rather than doing a full reinstall.
So another possible solution is to remove DVDFab, run CCleaner to remove any remaining registry entries, then reinstall.
Finally the third and probably the easiest to test is to select ‘Disable all GPU codecs for decoding and encoding’ which you’ll find under Common Settings >> General >>A/V Codec.
