Awesome sauce. Just converted (DVD rip from hard drive) the movie OUTSOURCED to iPad (720x398) format. Used the CUDA graphic acceleration (I had to update my old Nvidia drivers).

Movie was 1:42 and converted in 57 minutes at over 50 FPS! Very nice. Great work guys!!

I didn’t notice the option for the 5.1 conversion so I used Dolby II instead.

According to Speccy, I have a Nvidia GeForce 9500 GT. Driver version 6.14.12.6099. The date listed on the website showed that the new version was released this month. (See: http://www.nvidia.com/object/winxp-260.99-whql-driver.html).

I’ve done a few conversions to the H.264 format today and the CUDA graphics assist seems to help generate faster conversions.

I bought a new Apple TV gen 2 this week and it’s working great streaming my DVDFab rips over the network to my HDTV. You guys rock!

I was asking about the CUDA driver version, if you open DVDFab’s common settings and click on A/V Codec it will tell you at the bottom.

I have the Nvidia GeForce 8500 GT

Gotcha. I also have version 3.20.

Graphics Chipset :
NVIDIA GeForce 9500 GT

CUDA Driver Version: 3.20
CUDA Capability revision number: 1.1

Supported Video Codecs :
CUDA_MODE_H264
CUDA_MODE_VC1
CUDA_MODE_MPEG2
DXVA_MODE_H264

CoreAVC : cannot be detected.

I’m not sure about CoreAVC, but everything is running well.

#13

Humm. Just checked I was using the 8.0.3.1 beta. I’m trying a conversion with 8.0.3.2 now. I don’t expect any problems. But that might explain why I didn’t see the extra sound options on some conversions.
