could it be that the current betas are not compatiblewith xp but work with windows 7
Try version 188.8.131.52 and see if that works.
I'm having the same problem with 184.108.40.206 and 220.127.116.11 and I'm running under Windows XP.
Sorry for the late reply :flower: with the new versions that your having this issue with, have you gone into common settings to make sure all settings are the same ? also do you have service pack 3 installed ? not sure if this the problem but if I remember right Microsoft dropped support for SP2 and SP3 may be needed
Haven't touched the settings and my machine has SP3 installed.
Working fine on my Win XP machines, so that is not it.
Did you install anything else recently?
Have to ask but are you running 32 bit or 64 bit XP ?
I've had the same problem with 8.x.x.x -- the program closes and a window opens up asking me to send the info in, which I've done at least once for each of the latest versions. Running XP, SP2. Version 18.104.22.168 still works. Help!
I don't get the send info screen. The program just closes, no warnings and no errors.
Please look in the knowledge-base thread on how to send, it is located in the sticky area here is a link http://club.myce.com/f116/dvdfab-knowledge-base-310834/
tried it same results disappearsworks with windows 7 not xpthe initial 8.0.0 works the betas do not
You wouldn't happen to have Kaspersky installed by any chance?
I am not sure which one of us you were asking, but I do not use Kaspersky.
nohave avg freewill try the latest dvdfab out today
beta dvd fab 10/29 fixes the problemthank you all
New version is 22.214.171.124 which came out today
May I suggest that you remove AVG and install Microsoft Security Essentials in its place? Much less intrusive than AVG, and works flawlessly...
Happy to find 126.96.36.199 works fine. Joy in Mudville once again!
Good to hear and thanks for reporting that.
