Why dont you start the 30 day trial for Blu-Rar option after it it out of Beta

excited to try it out… hope the bugs are minimal or non-existent!

thanks guys

Fengtao and Ting, nicely done.
Appreciate it.

Thank you, you guys are relentless, lol. ~ Mike

If all software companies listened to their people like these guys do…what a world it would be.

Awesome job guys and I now look forward to the day I can get a BD drive.

Just don’t use it until it is out of the beta stage

Thanks Fengtao for the update
can’t wait to try some of those mobile improvements

Exactly. It’s totally up to the user.

Some ppl will want to try it out asap.
If you don’t, then don’t

Fengtao,

It seems DVDFab can’t handle Blu-ray’s AACS MKBv12. I tried Madagascar Escape 2 Africa on Bluray Region A, which is protected by MKBv12 (no BD+) and DVDFab just scan the disc forever. After a few minutes DVDFab shutdown by itself.

I tried a few Blu-ray movies MKBv7, MKBv9, DVDFab works fine.

Suggestions for Blu-ray features:

 • Main Movie menu shows all titles and does not go directly to the main movie but instead (I think) the largest play time. My suggestion is to jump/select directly to main movie.

 • For Main Movie mode, DVDFab doesn’t produce index.bdmv and MovieObject.bdmv under BDMV folder. Tested in PS3 and PowerDVD, they don’t recognize the disc without these files.

I installed this beta and when I started a DVD back up it said “you are going to try the Blu-Ray option” and all I had to select was OK. It did not give me a YES or NO selection like I was expecting. Doesn’t really matter to me but I thought I would post it here

New: Added profiles to create AVI for DivX compatible player. Thanks for signals!

I thought the AVIs were already compatible with DivX players. I mean, as far as I know the resulting AVIs don’t use QPel or GMC. The only thing that might possibly be a problem is the FourCC used.

There is a thread about it in the Mobile sub-forum: http://club.cdfreaks.com/f163/divx-videofab-converter-really-267199/

Ah. Ok, thanks for clearing that up.

I also had the same message.

Me too, but About still says Never Used.

I was in the middle of a test back up when I posted but the about still says never used for me also. It would be better if we had a yes or no choice for it

Yes, that’s true and I do plan to buy it if and when I go Blu-ray but if we get a limited time period to purchase free lifetime for it as I have it for my platinum then I will be one of the first to purchase it. If not then I will wait the 2 or 3 years until I do go Blu-ray to purchase
