DVDFab 5.1.1.8 Beta and Fred Claus Strange!

Windows see's this DVD as 4.73 GB which is SL however when i CLONED this DVD the ISO image is 7.67 GB which is DL. I said HUH!!. I looked at the DVD cover and it said DL. Now these DVD companies trying to get smart here!. So i opened DVDFabs ini ( Layer Break File ) and sure enough it's a DL movie. But windows is reading and reporting the DVD as 4.73 GB. Even stranger when i CLONED the DVDFab ISO of 7.67 GB to a DL blank the CLONE copy also reads 4.73 GB in windows. Check this out!. P.S. DVDFab does CLONE it and plays back 100% but strange. Also read in another popular software forum which makes it stranger.

Hi mjmagicjack,

I think it’s a file system trick, Windows cannot see the hidden files, so that you cannot copy it in Explorer.

And of course DVDFab has no problem

You are correct it copied ( CLONED ) it 100% perfect!
