DVDFab 5.0.9.0 Discussion

vbimport

Same as Source (outfps mode=“1”) still produces jerky video encoded at 59.94 fps with H.264 codec. If that line is not in the profile, e.g. Generic AVI H264+MP3) the video is fine.

Office Season 4 hangs, using Clone or Full Copy DVD9

dvd9 split problem still not fixed
second disk crashes on manual time forwarding (really simple to reproduce, split some dvd9 movie (mode doesn’t matter), play second disk, drag the time slider - and dvd playback software crashes (or hw player doesn’t work at all)

Tested with TheaterTek 2.6, Zoomplayer 5.5&6 (FFDshow, purevideo, cyberlink codecs) and windvd/powerdvd trials…
4 different PCs…

But Clone works without a problem. Sorry for the hassle.

No reason Full Disc should not work too. Click the “Send IFO Files” button on the Info page. Describe the problem in the text input box at the bottom.

The MKV Muxing bug is still present in this version.
The initial report is here.

The only time I ever have this issue is when I blocked some tracking cookies that is needed by the website, most of the time the only tracking cookies I block are for adds and such

DVDFab 5090 is not working well with Wine 1.1.4 on Ubuntu 8.04.1 (no updated on Ubuntu after CD install).

5090 installs fine from the *.exe, but when a ViDEO_TS folder is selected in “Split” mode, such as the current 2008 DIsney “Sword and the Stone” release, nothing appears in the Titles pane, and a dialog pops up asking for a connection to the internet. This happens with several VIDEO_TS folders already ripped with 5085 or 5080.

 1. Ripping to DVD 9 is so slow that it’s almost unusable. It’s faster just to rip directly to mp4 files. It’s ripping the disk at about 0.2Mb/sec

 2. Encoding to mkv is broken. When playing back the file (in Zoomplayer, or jriver media center) only the sound plays back. There is no picture.

i have exact same error… what you will find if you uninstall it, and reinstall without registering it , it will function perfectly, as soon as you register it it falls over.

I can fault it everytime doing this. It did not happen with 5.0.5.0.

I am happily rolling along with 5.0.5.0…

audiophile_au,

Thanks… I’ll verify if it does the same to me. I’m just glad I’m not the only one who has this problem.

Is it possible for this program to corrupt a file in windows xp so it won’t boot up? Just curious because I read about the “clean” un install and this possibly leaving behind corrupt files after reinstalling different versions. The guide in Stormjumpers sig is what I’m referring too.

What you are talking about in the guides for clean uninstall refers to files on your computer that gets corrupt over time due to spyware, malware and viruses
DVDFab itself does not and will not corrupt the files on your computer

Cool thanks for clearing that up I didn’t’ think so I was just a little confused about “corrupt” files being there. I appreciate the reply and your guide.
