The Error is DVDFab - The ultimate DVD copying/converting/burning software! Has stopped working.

Windows can check online for a solution.

Below in my signature you will find info on how to do a “Clean uninstall of DVDFab Platinum or Gold” try following those steps and make sure you do the reg clean up after doing so (Note) not a normal uninstall

I have tried un-install method in your thread before. I tried it again and this time I cleaned the registry, both manually by searching for DVDfab keys and also used CCleaner. I restarted and reinstalled and got the same error.

I hope there is someone that can tell me what the crash is in relation to from the error message I have posted as a clean install is not working.

I saw that there was a 4.1.0.2 version available so I decided to try that. I un-installed 4.1.0.0 and installed 4.1.0.2 without any extra manual file deletions or registry editing. The new version asked to restart, and then it worked. I am encoding to xvid.mp3 now. It moved past the point that it was failing at.

Success.
