My copy of DVD2 will not finish the trtansfer. Runs fine during the copy but on the transfer phase it runs to 100% but just keeps running. No announcement of copy successful. Then the disk tray will not open.

I think you might need to be a little more specific about the program name… Is it CloneDVD2? DVD2one? I don’t think I’ve ever heard of just a “DVD2”.

How long have you had this particular version of CloneDVD2? I have seen where others have downloads from unscrupulous sites, and had corrupt or bad downloads which did not work correctly. If your download was from slysoft, it is very likely fine. Have you used it before successfully? Please provide your system specs, as there are many things that can cause problems. Do you have one or two HD’s. Do you have a via chipset? Are your bios and chipset drivers current? Do you have INCD or Sonic DLA installed on your PC? All of these and more can factor into the equasion.

@ jimmiereb,

To ensure you have the genuine AnyDVD-CloneDVD and the current version always download these software products from SlySoft (http://www.slysoft.com). To avoid any confusion always provide the Version Number of the software programs you are using to make your backup copies of your Commercial DVD Movie Titles.

Usually the problem you are describing is caused by incompatibly between the blank DVD Media you are using and/or the Firmware version of your DVD Burner. Another possibility is conflicts caused by invasive software programs like Anti-Virus and/or Packet Writing software programs. Also ensure all background activities and Multi-Tasking is curtailed when processing Commercial DVD Movie Title backups.

Suggest obtaining known proven high quality DVD Media. Suggest obtaining either FujiFilm or Sony media ensuring that the package clearly states Made In Japan. A void purchasing FujiFilm or Sony media that is not manufactured Made In Japan because the quality of this DVD media is unknown and considered suspect.

Suggest viewing the below PC World article concerning DVD Burner Firmware.

Suggest visiting the CD Freaks Optical Drive Forum (http://club.cdfreaks.com/forumdisplay.php?f=61) and research for the newest current up to date Firmware for your DVD Burner.

If unable to located the newest current up to date Firmware for your DVD Burner at the CD Freaks Optical Drive Forum suggest visiting the below Web Link.
