DVD write error - Filter problem?

I’m having problems burning DVDs with both Nero and Alcohol 120. Depending on the brand of cd, the progress bar either reaches 5-10% or 80% and then pops up with a write error.

While googling a solution i came up with the Upper filter / lower filter thing in the registry. Could this be the cause? The things that could have caused it are:

1.Installing SP3
2.Installing a newer version of Alcohol 120.
or a combination of both.

Is it safe to delete those two registry entries??
What else could be causing this??

I’m attaching a screenshot of the registry entry. Please let me know if you spot any problems.

Thanks in advance!

So as you can see the CloneCD and AnyDVD ones are outdated. I haven’t used the progs in quite a while. I think i’ll uninstall.
That should get rid of the drivers right??

What concerns me is the GEARAspiWDM Upper filter. Is this from iTunes?
Should i update iTunes or remove that registry entry?

Please help!
