What is the best and easiest way to convert dvd audio to cd-r.
Extract the DVD’s audio track (as PCM WAV 44KHz/16bit) to your hard drive using a DVD ripper, use your favorite burner to record it to your favorite brand of CD-R.
As for the ripper, I can’t recommend any for Windows since I use a different platform. Wait a bit (or head to one of the software forums dedicated to ripping) and someone will eventually suggest something.

There are numerous DVD Audio Rippers/Extractors software programs available that will extract the audio stream from a DVD and save a MP3 and/or Wave file.
