I am trying to copy numerous DVD’s to my external hard drive. I have tried AnyDVD, DVD Shrink, DVDFab 5 and AVS DVD. I am trying to make an exact copy so all of my DVD’s will be on my hard drive so I have to just click on one icon to view any DVD. I can burn the DVD to another DVD or when I select the hard drive all I get are AUDIO/VIDEO TS icons. I am obviously not a technical expert with computers so any help would be wonderful.
With DVDFab just go into common settings->[B]General[/B] and select your external HD as the target location 
StormJumper thanks are you refering to “generic” because I have not seen a “General” selection.

That’s what you end up with when you rip a DVD.

It actually refers to ‘General’…Click the green colored check mark icon, next to ? icon…
