Yo-
You must not visit here very often-
DVDshrink was abandoned over 3 years ago and there haven’t been any updates since-eh!!
If you look at yours & bigmike’s posts, you will notice that you created your own link to download the last version.
DvDShrink Ver 3.2.0.15 was the last official version. There was however one other version released, Ver 3.2.0.16 which would allow you to use Imgburn as the burning tool. But it’s very hard to find.
Since it is not updated anymore I would recommend that you use DVDFab HD Decrypter to remove all the newest protection.
Link: http://www.dvdfab.com/free.htm
DvD Shrink is still a nice tool to use but the newest protections must be removed first.
Yep and that link to our front page is still active, so just click on the link you created by typing DVDShrink.
i like this version with ImgBurn support, even includes a Read Me First guide for setting it up.

Thank u all for ur useful information. I actually bought the key to DVD Fab, but later was disappointed, the DVD after buring Dual Layer images, after a while would lock the drive, i had to restart to eject the burned DVD.
So basically it worked, after burning a few dual dvds burns, but then wouldn’t eject the DVD later on.
I would be greatful if u could find a program, which can burn, ‘Video-TS’ DVD folder?
Because dats the issue here, i mean DVD Decrpter does the same.
What else can burn DVD folders permantly?
Please.

What else can burn DVD folders permantly?
ImgBurn, in ‘File’ mode.
you already have dvdfab for decryting/ripping and then select ImgBurn as the burn engine in dvdfab write settings.
http://www.dvdfab.com/docs/index.php/Main/SettingsWrite
you only need to change one setting in ImgBurn to make it play nice with dvdfab.
[ul]
[li]Tools[/li][li]Settings[/li][li]Build[/li][li]Dont Prompt Image Details[/li][/ul]
now when you use dvdfab
[ul]
[li]Full Disc Mode[/li][li]DVD9 Media Selector[/li][li]ImgBurn burn engine[/li][li]DL Verbatim Made In Singapore [the only highly recommended media][/li][/ul]
all you have to do is click start [one click] wait for dvdfab to copy dvd, ImgBurn will automatically open in build mode and start to burn, you dont have to click any other buttons and ImgBurn will close. DONE.
seems you are already using dvdfab and imgburn.
in my opinion these are two [from a small list] of the best programs you could possibly use.

however the log you posted is from VSO not ImgBurn and i see that you are in PIO transfer mode you need to be sure you are in UDMA 4

but its seems you also have issues with ImgBurn, dvdfab will use Ner0 if you want???

Sorry 4 the delay, i am NOW decrypting with Platium. after IMG BURN failed decrypting
sorry but ImgBurn is not a decrypter.
if you use DVDFab in Full Disc mode the layer break will be removed. then when ImgBurn opens in Build Mode the optimal layer break will be assigned my ImgBurn. If you use dvdfab in Clone Mode the original layer break will be preserved and could cause issues during write.
I agree with using DvdFab in Full Disc Mode (Dvd9), but here’s where I will give you another option. This is for Dual Layer.
if you use DVDFab in Full Disc mode the layer break will be removed. then when ImgBurn opens in Build Mode the optimal layer break will be assigned my ImgBurn. I would not use Full Disc mode to burn DL’s with. Always use Clone mode for DL’s. Also when burning DL’s make sure PathPlayer is Disabled.
This has worked for me for 100+ Verbatim DL’s i have used with DVDFAb Plat.
Your version of DVDFab Plat is way old. I don’t think that version will even be able to use ImgBurn for a burn engine.(?)
Yes get that drive out of PIO mode!
Sorry, I should have said use DvdFab in Full Disc Mode to rip the Dvd to your hard drive & then the link.
Thank u, olyteddy I know exactly what 2 do now.

When i use DVDFab Plat in Clone mode and ImgBurn for my burn engine…ImgBurn doesn’t build anything. ImgBurn just uses DVDFab’s build information (including layer break info) and burns the DL disc.
yeah Bob you are correct. DVDFab in Clone Mode will always produce an ISO file not a video_ts folder. [even when destination dvd writer / temp folder] so ImgBurn will not open in Build Mode but Write Mode. thus preserving the original layer break.
so in fact for you this statement i made is not correct.
If you use dvdfab in Clone Mode the original layer break will be preserved and could cause issues during write.
i do not use full disc or clone mode, only burn single layer media. so all my advice is only from how dvdfab and ImgBurn work together and my reading of user problems. not necessarily my personal experiences. there have been users where using full disc and letting ImgBurn create the layer break in build mode was better for them.
however i can not argue with you as i know you have the experience and knowledge.
there is a new version of dvd shrink just released, i found this article today about:
Edit: Dubious link removed
i downloaded and it works fine, there are more features then dvd shrink 3.2 latest version…
Not even close to the real dvdshrink. They are just using the name to make money. The real dvdshrink was free.
If you want what is the only update to the Final 3.2 Version.
ImgBurn replaced DVD Decrypter as the burning engine.
Not to be confused with DVDFabHDDecrypter.
This link was posted in another thread by Kerry56:

Once there you need to read down to “More information and other downloads:”
"Download DVD Shrink for Imgburn, DVD Shrink with builtin DVD burning using ImgBurn. "
Click on the underlined “Download DVD Shrink for Imgburn”

Please can someone be as kind for giving me the link for ‘latest’ DVD Shrink. Version 3 is latest.

Yeah dude, DVDShrink is obsolete. You can get the DVD and Blu Ray copy parts of DVDFab for free. Does all the same things as DVDShrink.
