Hey, I'm new to the whole burning scene, so if I could get some experienced help it would be greatly appreciated!
I'm trying to compress a .vob file (original is .avi) using DVD Shrink so I can burn it on a DVD (Super DVD Creator).
Now, from my understanding, DVD's can hold up to 4.7GB. The thing that's pissing me off is after I compress the .vob files, DVD Shrink says they're compressed down to about 1200MB.
Then, I go confirm by checking the folder on my desktop, and it says that the folder containing the compressed files is 1.08GB. No worries, because DVD's can hold 4.7GB, right?
I open the two compressed .vob files in Super DVD Creator, and it will not successfully burn because it says "Media size limit exceeded, cannot burn to one disc."
What's up with this? I've tried re-compressing the already compressed files, and I've been trying to find a solution for a few days now. Could somebody please help me come up with a working solution?
