I recorded a TV program onto DVD-RAM with my stand alone Panasonic DVD recorder. But there are 3 or 4 places where the audio goes silent for about 1 to 5 minutes. It just disappears and then reappears. No pops, clicks or anything. The video keeps playing perfectly. I probably use DVD-RAM 99% of the time because I mainly time-shift and never had this problem.
I've searched the Internet and cannot find any comments about the TV network or Comcast cable having a problem, so I figure it must be my recorder or the disc.
I do have an LG optical drive in my PC which can read RAM discs. Is there a way to test the disc for errors which could cause audio problems?
Thanks in advance.
