Greetings. I recently have extracted a TS-L532M drive from a hp pavilion dv4000 and installed this device into another laptop which is xp compliant. Will read/write cd’s, will not read/write dvds. im assuming is a driver/firmware problem. I have searched high and low for drivers/firmware with no luck. 
There is no firmware yet for this drive. Better leave it in the origin computer.
