Thank you so much for responding so quickly to my question.
What I did was I asked the program to make an exact copy of the dvd. Since I'm new to being able to do this, and just learning, I am not sure how to "separate" things from the process. I tried to make a copy of a movie (using a different program, which is why I ended up with this one, it's MUCH better) and deselected having spanish, french, etc., and subtitles for those languages, and ended up with subtitles in English playing with the movie. LOL.
I then used the DVD Fab software to try to make a duplicate of my dvd. When I inserted a DVD-R into the drive when it was ready to be written, I was prompted to insert a DVD-R Double Layer disk.
If I don't back up the entire DVD, can I then use a regular DVD-R disk rather than a DL one?
Again, thanks for your help!
