Question- I’ve decided on the Toshiba SD-R5372 and the AOpen DVD-1648/AAP for ripping. Do I need a seperate CDR/W burner for audio ripping and/or safedisk/securom rips, or will either the Toshiba or AOpen suffice? If not, which CDR/W would you recommend?

Have you already bought the two? First spend some time using the two drives yourself. Audio CD and game CD ripping/copying/lock-breaking depend much on what disks you want to rip and copy. If your two drives seem to be insufficient for your applications and requirements, have a third drive. Look for some from Lite-On or Plextor forum. Reviews are also available and easy to search.

Thanks, sounds like a good idea. I haven’t bought them yet, but I’m finally ready to pull the trigger. I’ll give them a shot first and see what happens.
