For your information, as with any media that is difficult to find, we are in the process of obtaining a couple of AN35 media so we can tune a future firmware to support these media.
But in our experience, ANxx (Anonymous) MID codes are usually of questionable quality and it could be that different batches of AN35 could give different results.
All in all, you always get what you pay for, so always be careful when buying cheap media. In the end, they may not be so cheap.
Also, some media might work fine at first but degrade fast in a couple of months or after a year or so. That's fine if you used it for a movie that you'll only see a couple of times, but not so fine if you are backing up important data.
Only the A-brands will guarantee longterm problemless operation. I'm talking about Verbatim, Taiyo Yuden, etc. Yes, they are expensive, but their quality is consistent and these companies take responsibility for their products.
So if you buy cheap media, always be prepared to pay the longterm price of not being able to play that media anymore after a certain period.
