Simple answer, NO.
Get some TY or Verbatim for your data.

By the way, where did you buy them?
I would love to get some Princo Budget DVDRs - wouldn’t you want to swap some of them for Verbatim or Falcon Media Pro DVDRs?

Good Lord, I’ve not seen a Princo disc since 2004! I thought Princo went bust or folded years ago?

Thanks, but these are the normal ones (not “Princo Budget” ones) which I already have.

Princo might have c*cked it up with their 4x generation, but surely their new media code - PRINCORGM1 - MUST have got something right?

If they become common place in Britain and going cheap, I’ll be interested in buying to see what they are like burning wise and reliability wise. I only remember one Princo disc being burned as a copy of Finding Nemo sometime in 2003 or 2004, and though I’ve thrown that disc out, that verified brilliantly on my now retired Phillips burner some 8 years later. Like a good disc should!

Here in Brazil PRINCORGM1 DVD-R started to be found onto market…

Onto package (sold as I-Max DVD-R 16x) some crap or really a great budget deal? Can I use it for short-term data storage/video storage or can be used only to produce beach Frisbee?

The price is same as “CMC MAG. AM3” from ValueDisc 16x (i use it and have great burns… very happy with this disc)…

The samples that I have show the signs of deterioration after 4-5 years.
So if you can’t get them for MUCH lower price than the “CMC MAG. AM3” discs, I would not buy them.
