My friend burned me a DVD with his DVD player, which was accepting input from his personal video camcorder. The disk plays on his DVD player fine afterwards but it won't even detect on my PC, saying it's a blank disk, and it won't play on any of my DVD players, including a new DVD player, PS2 and PS3.
Does anyone have experience with this? Does the disk have some kind of data protection that I can bypass with a program? Accessing it on my PC(DVD+R/RW) would be preferable.
Also, I tried using the program called "recover disk", which ran through fully for like an hour, made a file, but the file says it's a blank disk as well.
