DVD Overburning!

Hi all,I urgently need to burn a 4501mb image file to a single layer dvd so I thought I should do my first overburning!I tried nero, got in the options, turned on the dvd overburning feature and set the maximum dvd size to 4505mb.But when I want to burn the image,I get this error:“invalid field in command”!What should I do now?Is the problem from the dvd or the recorder?I had never encountered this error before. My recorder is lg gsa-h20n.Thanks for your help in advance!

Well, the LG drive doesn’t support overburning. There are only a some drives that supports overburning DVD media, ie BenQ and Plextor to name a few. Moreover, overburning can be done only on DVD+R.

But according to the log file, I think your problem is related to the low quality of the media (Princo).

I noticed you referring to same problems in two other postings that you created? Did you manage to use either advice to figure out what was happening in your system?

http://club.cdfreaks.com/f3/2-quetions-227175/

http://club.cdfreaks.com/f91/problem-gsa-h20n-220348/

Sounds like your having the same problem with the same drive???

That older threads should have already answered post #1:confused:

I don’t have any more problems with DMA mode and making isos including .url files, this one is tottaly different. If my dvd burner doesn’t really support overburning, then I’d have to forget about it!Thanks guys!
