DVD next copy next tech

MY PC crashed about a week ago.
I was having NO issues backing up a movie till now.
I am trying to get DVD next copy next tech to back up a movie.
My question is Do I install DVD next copy next tech first
then install machinist2.DLL.
OR the other way around machinast2.dll then DVD next copy next tech?
Also do I install machinist2.DLL. into it’s own separate program
OR do I install it into DVD next tech? And one final question

could you send me a link to the correct machinist because I don’t know if I am suppose to run machinist or machinist2.dll.

I hope this all makes since. But I installed the program 4/5 years ago without a hitch now that I have crashed I am totally confused.
Thanks

Ususally you would install the program first, then the machinist, but this should not cause your machine to crash. Google is your friend when looking for the machinist.dll

The program you installed 5 years ago does not exist anymore. Go to their website and update to the newest version.

so do I want machinist2.dll or just machinist?
Also when I extract machinist to I send it to DVD next copy next tech
OR do I just leave it in as a stand alone program?
sorry for so many ?? but I feel like a noob at this installing.
Thanks again for all your help

If you have the machinist2.dll you need to install DVD neXt COPY first. Then drop the machinist2.dll in the install folder.

OK finally getting around to reinstalling
DVD next copy next tech version 4.5.0.5
I went to the Machinist2.dll web page and I noticed that it said
if you are using version 4.4.7.5 or higher to use Libdvdcss2.dll
I am using v4.5.0.5 which IS higher than v4.4.7.5
so which one should I use??
Machinist2.dll or Libdvdcss2.dll
Please LMK
Thanks
