DVD not only isn’t dead, it’ll beat out Blu-Ray and HD-DVD.

As DVD is now has a massive consumer foothold it is difficult to see it not having a similar life to CD, which after 20 odd years is still going strong despite SACD and DVD Audio trying to kill it. £9.99 Asda players can only help to strengthen its position as well.

At 3rd World countries, like here in Brazil, DVD burners just started to being popular. Most people still think DVD discs are only for vIdeo (like some ppl on CD being only for Audio) and the standard is new. So, at least in here, DVDs are going to be popular much more years.

 Hi Everybody ! In China as everywhere in the Earth, DVD players/Burners/Disc could be bought easily in every corner. And at a cheap price. Each time consuming them, i can’t help thinking of the developer’s’ GREATNESS. Diligent Japanese, Smart Dutch, together with hundreds of thousands Technicians & Workers Worldwide… Without them, how could we have this opportunity of using 4.7G-9G storage medium instead of the poor 1.44M floppy disk?! It’s MAGIC ! Being HomoSapien, i feel Glory as the same specie of these LOVELY Guys. I Love DVD, and their Creators.
