i'm new to the world of dvd writers and so far have overcome any probs/issues encountered whilst copying dvd's/creating data dvd's etc.
there is however 1 issue i just can't get my head round
i have an avi file on my pc which i want to burn onto a dvd so that it'll play in my dvd player. whilst creating the dvd using nero 7 premium everything went perfectly. i waited for the file to encode, which took 1.5 hours, then when asked, i inserted a blank dvd and waited for the disc to finish burning. when finished, i closed nero, put the disc back into the dvd drive and play it with media player. the dvd plays fine apart from one major problem - there is no sound. what did i do wrong?
as far as nero is concerned, i did everything that the 'make your own dvd-video' wizard suggested. not once did it mention anything about audio. whilst i was creating the chapters for the dvd, i previewed the dvd and the sound worked fine, so where did it go?
thnx to anybody taking the time to read this and/or reply!
