When I am about to copy a DVD there is a drop down box at the bottom that has DVD5 and DVD9 what is the difference?
Welcome to the forum…
DVD-5 (4.37 gig) is a single layer disc and is probably what you are using to backup your movie to.
DVD-9 (7.95 gig) is a Dual Layer disc and is considerably more expensive and holds almost twice the data.
Thanks for the quick reply. Your right I am using the DVD5
Basically those are your two backup choices…if you choose DVD-9 you will need a dual layer disc to burn to. If you choose DVD-5, then DVDFab Gold will compress your movie accordingly to fit onto a single SL disc. Good luck and happy burning.
